Tallying 129.50 points over the three-day meet, the women finished second to only Texas (141.50), while the men took eighth with a score of 62 points.

Holding team point totals of 48 for the women and 43 for the men, the Wildcats combined on the day to break four school records.

In all, the throws group accounted for 37 of the 42 points scored by the Wildcats on the day.

Held at the Cyclone Sports Complex from May 15-17, action is expected to open tomorrow with the men's decathlon at 11 a.m. and continue into Sunday, May 17.

This year's class saw a total of 211 student-athletes honored, 81 members on the men's team and 130 for the women.

The spring signees join a 2015 recruiting class that now totals 15 athletes - eight on the men's side and seven for the women.
