Emma Robbins, a junior at Kansas State, achieved a personal-best 223-8 (68.18m) in the opening round of the women's hammer throw to place second in the NCAA Division 1 West Regional at Sacramento State. Robbins secured a berth in the June 8 final at the Division 1 championship meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
