K-State track and field got the season started off on a strong note in Ahearn Field House with a resounding performance at the Carol Robinson Winter Pentathlon. Senior Erica Twiss won the women's pentathlon and freshman Adam Deterding finished second in the men's event. Also competing for the Wildcats were juniors Sarah Kolmer and Joslyn Barnes, who finished second and third respectively, and Devin Dick and Reinis Kregers competed on the men's side.
